A submittal is documentation required for approval of any material, product, equipment, service and/or method of construction. A submittal is used to provide necessary details to prove that the materials and methods meet the design intent in the project plans and specifications. The information about the product includes: descriptions, composition, limitations, packaging, coverage, accessories, application instructions and manuafacturer contact information.
